What exactly is the difference between the integrated, firefox-based, microB browser?
Nokia developed MicroB with Mozilla-based code. MircoB is the default browser that comes with the Nokia N900. Mozilla has developed our own Firefox browser for mobile devices (which is built on the same browser engine as 3.6, and has many of the same features as Firefox for the desktop). Firefox is currently available for download on the Nokia N900 as a third party app.
Hi, Firefox is my browser of choice on my iMac and I was delighted to find out about the development effort for Firefox Mobile…until I just read that there are no plans to develop a version for Blackberries like my Curve!
Specifically, the Firefox Mobile page states: “Sorry, no plans. Due to its Java-based operating system and the inability to build native components, Firefox is not compatible on the Blackberry OS.”
Yet Opera has managed to develop Opera Mini, which runs on the Blackberry platform. So have the developers of the Bolt browser.
Why can’t Mozilla do the same?
P.S. If Mozilla won’t budget on this, could it possibly develop a way to sync bookmarks in a desktop Firefox installation with the Blackberry browser and/or Opera Mini installed on a Blackberry?
Sorry about this. We’re currently focused on developing for Windowns Mobile and the Android platform. That said, please continue to check back to our Mobile Platforms and Projects page where we openly discuss new projects to in an attempt provide at least parts of the Firefox experiences to users who want it, regardless of their device or platform.
Is there a time frame for the public release of Firefox Mobile/Fennec for Windows Mobile and Android?

I want a java based firefox web browser. we India have many java phones, but there are very less java browsers( just three major ones) pls look at the number of mobile users of sub-entry level and bring us a browser other than tea shark.
A java based firefox is preferred.
